Sanam Sherpa is a prominent figure in Nepal's tourism industry, with over 25 years of experience. He currently serves as the Second Vice President of the Trekking Agencies' Association of Nepal (TAAN) & Sherpa Tourism Entrepreneurs Association of Nepal (STEAN) and is the Managing Director of All Around Treks and Expedition, a company with an international presence, including Japan, Germany, Korea, and many more. His extensive career spans roles from assistant guide to a full-fledged guide and climber, gaining deep expertise in the field. Sanam Sherpa hails from khumbu Pasang Ihamu Gaupalika-3, Solukhumbu, a region well-known for producing accomplished climbers and trekkers. His leadership extends beyond tourism; he is also the Executive Director of Ongchhu Sherpa Trust, contributing to social causes in his community. Additionally, Sanam is a martial arts coach and an avid cyclist, embodying both physical endurance and a passion for adventure sports.
